Positions and Advertising Requirements

What additional advertisement requirements do integrated schools have?
In addition to the requirements when advertising in general, integrated schools must inform prospective applicants of the nature of their special character.
If the school’s integration agreement specifies that the position being advertised carries the responsibility for religious instruction (“special character positions” previously known as “tagged positions”) or is a clause 50 “special position”, then the advertisement must make clear that:

For special character positionsopen_in_new, the position requires a willingness and an ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the school’s special character and that this will be a condition of appointment.

For a specialopen_in_new position, the advertisement must state the particular capabilities required for the role.
Catholic schools must also provide the Special Character Position Form “S” formopen_in_new with their job application form.
